1. Program Overview
The Znippet Affiliate Program allows approved participants ("Affiliates") worldwide to earn commissions by referring new paying customers to Znippet. Affiliates earn 10% of all payments made by referred customers, for the lifetime of their subscription. This means you continue to earn as long as your referred customers remain active paying subscribers.
2. Eligibility
The Program is open to individuals and entities globally. To participate, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher.
- Have a valid PayPal account capable of receiving international payments.
- Apply for and receive approval from Znippet to join the Program.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your country and jurisdiction.
- Not be located in a country subject to international sanctions or trade restrictions (including, but not limited to, countries on the OFAC SDN list) that would prevent Znippet from lawfully making payments to you.
Znippet reserves the right to approve or deny any application at its sole discretion and to terminate any affiliate's participation in the Program at any time.
3. Commission Structure
Approved Affiliates earn a 10% recurring commission on all payments made by customers they refer to Znippet. Commissions are calculated on the net amount actually received by Znippet after any applicable taxes, refunds, or chargebacks.
Commissions are tracked via your unique affiliate link. A referral is attributed to you when a visitor clicks your link and subsequently purchases a paid Znippet plan within the cookie window defined by the Program.
Commissions are not earned on:
- Free plan signups.
- Refunded or charged-back transactions.
- Self-referrals (referring yourself or accounts you control).
- Purchases made through unauthorized channels or using fraudulent means.
4. Payouts
Payouts are subject to the following conditions:
- Minimum payout threshold: $50.00 USD. Commissions will accumulate until this threshold is reached before a payout is issued.
- Payout term (NET-15): Payouts are generated 15 days after the end of each calendar month for commissions earned in the previous month. For example, commissions earned in January are paid out by February 15.
- Payout method: PayPal only. You must have a valid PayPal account capable of receiving international transfers. Znippet is not responsible for delays or failures caused by incorrect PayPal account information, PayPal's availability in your country, or PayPal's own restrictions.
- Transaction costs: Any transaction or processing fees associated with the payout (including PayPal fees and any cross-border transfer fees) are deducted from the Affiliate's commission amount. The net amount after fees is what you receive.
- Currency: All commissions and payouts are denominated in US Dollars (USD). Any currency conversion is handled by PayPal and subject to their exchange rates and fees.
Znippet reserves the right to withhold payment if fraud, a violation of these Affiliate Terms, or suspicious activity is detected.
5. Taxes and Legal Compliance
You are solely responsible for determining and fulfilling your tax obligations arising from commissions received through the Program, including but not limited to income tax, self-employment tax, VAT, GST, or any other applicable taxes in your country or jurisdiction. Znippet does not withhold taxes on affiliate payments unless required to do so by applicable law.
Where required by law (for example, for US-based affiliates earning above applicable IRS thresholds), Znippet may request that you provide a completed tax form (such as a W-9 or W-8BEN) before processing payouts. Failure to provide required tax documentation may result in withheld payments.
You are responsible for ensuring that your participation in the Program and receipt of commissions is lawful in your jurisdiction.
6. Affiliate Obligations
As an Affiliate, you agree to:
- Promote Znippet honestly and accurately. Do not make false or misleading claims about Znippet's features, pricing, or results.
- Clearly disclose your affiliate relationship to your audience in accordance with the advertising disclosure laws applicable in your country — including but not limited to the FTC guidelines (US), ASA guidelines (UK), ACM guidelines (Netherlands), and equivalent regulations in your jurisdiction. Disclosure must be clear, conspicuous, and made before or at the point of the affiliate link.
- Not use spam, unsolicited messages, or deceptive marketing practices.
- Not bid on Znippet's branded keywords in paid search advertising without prior written consent.
- Not engage in cookie stuffing, click fraud, or any other form of artificial traffic generation.
- Keep your affiliate account credentials confidential and not share your affiliate link in a misleading context.
- Comply with all applicable data protection and privacy laws (including GDPR, CCPA, and equivalent regulations) when collecting or processing personal data in connection with your affiliate activities.
7. Intellectual Property
Znippet grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Znippet's name, logo, and approved marketing materials solely for the purpose of promoting the Program in accordance with these Affiliate Terms. You may not alter, modify, or create derivative works of Znippet's branding without prior written approval. This license automatically terminates upon termination of your participation in the Program.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate participation in the Program at any time. Znippet may terminate your participation immediately and without notice if you violate these Affiliate Terms or Znippet's general Terms & Conditions. Upon termination:
- You must immediately stop using Znippet's branding and affiliate links.
- Any unpaid commissions that have been legitimately earned and meet the minimum payout threshold will be paid out in the next scheduled payout cycle, provided no violations are found.
- Commissions earned through fraudulent or policy-violating activity will be forfeited.
9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Program is provided "as is." Znippet makes no guarantees regarding the amount of commissions you will earn. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Znippet's total liability to any Affiliate under these Affiliate Terms shall not exceed the total commissions paid to that Affiliate in the three months preceding the claim. Znippet is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the Program.
Nothing in these Affiliate Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud or willful misconduct.
10. Modifications
Znippet reserves the right to modify these Affiliate Terms at any time, including commission rates, payout thresholds, and payout methods. Changes will be communicated via the affiliate portal or by email with reasonable notice where required by law. Continued participation in the Program after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you may terminate your participation before the changes take effect.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Affiliate Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law principles. However, if mandatory consumer protection or other laws in your country of residence provide you with rights that cannot be waived by contract, those rights are not affected by this clause.
Any dispute arising from these Affiliate Terms that cannot be resolved informally shall first be submitted to mediation. If mediation fails, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Netherlands, unless mandatory local law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.
